Season of Service Days

The Seasons of Service Days are a portfolio of national and global opportunities for people to volunteer for service projects and activities throughout the year. Thousands of District residents volunteer each year to be part of the Seasons of Service Days a year-round action plan designed to illustrate how a single day of service can grow into an ongoing habit of helping communities.

Serve DC serves as the city’s lead organizer for Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, Global Youth Service Day and Patriot Day. Serve DC also assists partner organizations with the planning and implementation of the other days of service such as Make a Difference Day and DCPS Beautification Day. For information on planning or participating in a Seasons of Service Day activity, please contact email Emily Batchelder or call (202) 727-7972.
